The annual Lighted Christmas Parade will step-off on Friday, December 2 at 6:30 PM. The parade will assemble at First and Church Streets. It will proceed west on Church and then proceed south on 4th to Main where it will turn east on Main Street and turn north on Lebanon. The parade will then proceed west on Church back to St. John’s. All civic organizations, community groups, churches, neighborhood organizations, and individuals are invited to enter. Click on the link below for a parade entry form. Each year the Mascoutah Chamber of commerce recognizes member businesses who have reached a milestone in their history. Businesses are recognized every ten years. Since the 2021 annual dinner was cancelled and the 2022 dinner was postponed, there was a larger list to be honored at the dinner on April 9, 2022. The following businesses were recognized:

Jim & Sharon Connor Chosen as 2019 Persons of the Year
At the annual Chamber dinner held on January 18, 2020 Jim and Sharon Connor were chosen as 2019 Persons Of the Year. Jim was cited for his work with the Chamber of Commerce. He has been a Board member since 2008 and an officer since 2011. Her serves as the chairperson of the Fall Fest Car Show and also serves on the Mascoutah City Planning Commission. Sharon was cited for her work with the Mascoutah Senior Center. She has been the Secretary of the Board of Directors since 2016. She leads three exercise classes for seniors each week. She has served as the Chairperson of the Wine & Cheese/Beer & Brat Fundraiser for many years. She has also been chosen as the Senior Center Volunteer of the year twice. The Award is given for volunteer service and not be part of any job or occupation. The award was presented by past winner Kathy Welker.
