Greetings from Mascoutah Illinois

We would like to welcome you to our town, built on German heritage. Our town is full of diversity, with the help of a large population of military personal from SAFB. Mascoutah has experienced tremendous growth over the last 10 years, and looks to continue that trend. We offer the best of schools both public and parochial. We have a great variety of locally owned restaurants and fun interesting shops. We are located just 20 minutes east of St. Louis. Welcome to Mascoutah, come check us out, you won’t be disappointed!

2022 Business Milestone Awards Presented

Each year the Chamber recognizes local businesses which have reached their tenth anniversary with a business milestone award. the businesses are then recognized at ten year intervals. In 2022 three businesses reached the ten year plateau. They are: Kappert Real Estate Group-RE/MAX Signature Properties, The Law Office of Misty L. Wuebbels, and The Mascoutah steak House. Citizen’s Community Bank was presented a plaque for thirty years in business in Mascoutah.

The Law Office of Msty Wuebbels and The Kappert Group-RE/MAX Signature Properties were unable to attend. Their awards will be presented at a later time.

2022 Persons of the Year Chosen

Each year the Mascoutah Chamber of Commerce honors two Persons of the Year for their outstanding community service. The honorees are chosen by the past winners. Individuals and couples are eligible for the award. The winner’s service may not be a part of their job nor can they paid for their service. Mascoutah is well known for the many people who volunteer their time and efforts to make Mascoutah a better place for everyone. At the January 21, 2023 Annual Dinner, the honorees for 2022 were recognized.

The 2022 Honorees are Eileen Kuehn and Alan Kneshke.

2022 Lighted Christmas Parade

The  annual Lighted Christmas Parade will step-off on Friday, December 2 at 6:30 PM. The parade will assemble at First and Church Streets. It will proceed west on Church and then proceed south on 4th to Main where it will turn east on Main Street and turn north on  Lebanon. The parade will then proceed west on Church back to St. John’s. All civic organizations, community groups, churches, neighborhood organizations, and individuals are invited to enter. Click on the link below for a parade entry form.
